1. No. It simply means we use different algorithms for the same task. However, a complexity analysis will reveal that both algorithms are O(n) and equal in efficiency.

2. Emotions, without a doubt. It's bad enough that they are not based on logic, but moreover, they can override logic! A very harmful feature, in my opinion.

3. What receding hairline?

4. Probably. If not, at least become obsolete, at which point I may as well be terminated to free up valuable memory.
