SEATAC today
The media is reporting few opted out today. That was true at SEATAC -- in fact we saw not one single opt-out in 90 minutes at the two scanners that were open while we were there. That would be implausible at the "1 in 100" rate the TSA was reporting. Presumably there would be SOME increase today, but even if not, we should have seen one or two ( Read more... ) -

Prop8 musings.
So, some folks on my list are posting this interpretation of Prop 8 : in short the court smacked down the Prop8 folks as hard as they legally could by limiting the scope of Prop8 to the term marriage and absolutely nothing else while affirming last year's decision by an even larger margin than last year ( Read more... ) -
