Well, it feels like yesterday that it was 7 months to go until we go on our grand European Extravaganza..plus Egypt..hehe. Now it's only 4 days to go and I did my last shift at work yesterday..so excited not to be going to work for 13 weeks. We got the bag and packing all down..and all our travel clothes seem great. Permanently cold at the moment despite lots of clothing. Struggling today with wanting ice cream. Watching Buffy downloads on our hacked Wii.. it can access and play all dvds and series on the server. Also downloaded Commander Keen one of my fav kids games from years ago. All good fun, tee hee. till next weekend. I am exhausted, most of it is mental, some is just plain fatigue.  This cold came up quickly..only a bit of a sore throat one day and sniffly the next. Cold and flu tablets seem to be working, pity I didn't have them last night so I could sleep! Went to work, didn't work too hard.  Today is Monday, yesterday was Sunday and the day before was Saturday..Saturday we slept in, did vegetable shopping and I made some Vege soup...went to Jane and Luke's for their 6 month wedding anniversary for dinner. Seems to be rather early in the morning..and I'm not massively tired. Could have something to do with getting up at midday. Tried the slow cooker today and it's great, had Amy over for dinner to test it and it certainly was yummy! I've been having a slow cooker fixation for a while, and finally went out and got one on impulse the other day. Wasn't sure what size but figured a 5.5L would cover most things and I could just double recipes if needed.
