Fiction Roundup: Rose Regenerates
I've always had a soft spot for fics where Rose regenerates, so I've been bookmarking them for months (although I may have missed some). Thanks for the excuse to re-read them!

Set 1: AU after PotW

A short piece immediately following PotW. Jack and the Doctor talk. I believe that this is The Classic Rose regenerates story.

I once spent months looking for this fic after I forgot to bookmark it. Rose regenerates into the Doctor's 10th body. It could be viewed as extremely well done Crack!fic

A long story that deals with the possible effects of Rose's regeneration on her, Jack and the Doctor. Involves Sarah Jane. Beautifully Done.

A short post PotW piece. While I think that the pacing is a bit off in places, Jack's initial reaction to the new Rose more than makes up for it.
WIP Lillibet: From Darkness and Light

A long story with only Rose and the Doctor. Rose regenerates, bit it goes a bit wrong. One of the sadder/darker fics I've read. I think that in places it lacks sufficient explanation of what's happening to Rose psychologically and the Doctor's reactions to her change a bit inexplicably/abruptly
The Lady Time: Time's Ways and its WIP sequel Sometimes a Second

I found the writing a bit choppy and the romance hollow; it relies on a bit of straight up retelling of The Parting of the ways and a bit of Deus ex Machina to kick things off, and continues as it began. A straightforward tale of Jack, Regenerated!Rose and the Doctor in the TARDIS. With sex.
Set 2: AU sometime in the 2nd season (pre-doomsday)
Random Battlecry: Continuation Theory (at time and chips, link to final part)
A bit more meta than I prefer, it starts off with the Doctor's regeneration and later encompasses Rose's.
Winterd: By The Numbers (at time and chips)
This story is so tightly written that I am always discovering something new in it. An overview of Rose and the Doctor's relationship throughout their regenerations.
WIP jinni: Radiant

A long story (18 chapters at time of posting) that starts off a tear-jerker and never quite reaches happy. The meat of the story begins after school reunion and continues thorough the Doctor and Rose meeting up with Jack again. Rose's post-regeneration visits home are some of the most poignant that I've read, and I wish that the author had devoted more time to them.
Set 3: AU after Doomsday
WIP Amberite: The Last First Doctor (link to part 4, previous parts linked from there)
A WIP that I love dearly, as is, and yet hope to see more of. It's just Rose, but oh what a Rose she is!
Debetesse: Fullness of Time (at time and chips)
A short and just a bit mythic story is which Rose find a way back. Some questionable formatting, but a good read.
Rowan: All That's Left Behind and it's sequels Into the Void and End of the Line

All That's Left Behind is a longer story which is a bit uneven in places, but manages to deal convincingly with what would happen if Rose, Jack, and the Doctor were to meet again. Contains sex and Torchwood, but no "proper" regeneration. (It may happen in one of the sequels)
Set 4: Stories I didn't read, didn't finish, or didn't like
Some of these are hopelessly trite, others contain so many spelling and grammar errors I didn't make it past the first sentence. After being burned, I quit even trying to read stores by some authors, so I have no idea if they've improved with time and practice or not.

Trite and sugary-sweet.
WIP JCL TennantPiper: A Time Lord and Lady (at teaspoon)
Author Summary: An alternative turn of events during the parting of ways. The Doctor still regenerates. But Rose also regenerates after the TARDIS turns her Gallifreyan and into a time lady to stop the time vortex from killing her. Jack is not left at the game station.
Tomb Raider: Rose Tyler the Last Time Lady (at fanfiction.net)
This may or may not be a WIP, I honestly can't tell. Contains multiple spelling and grammar errors

One-shot. The spelling is okay, but the grammar and odd word substitutions throw me off as much as the content. A sickly juvenile romance.

Seems to be set during season 3, I think, re-uniting Rose, Jack, and the Doctor (along with Mickey, Jackie and Alt!Martha) in Pete's Universe. Multiple spelling and grammar errors.
Author Summary: Time change. People change. Just usually not like this.
I Am Bad Wolf: Coming Home (at Teaspoon)
Page says that it's complete, the author's note alludes to another chapter to "be posted later."
Author Summary: Rose was dying. The Doctor was at war with the Daleks again. And the Cybermen. Then it was over. Rose sacrificed herself, as Bad Wolf, and, once again, destroyed the Daleks, and added the Cybermen to her list. Everything was fine again. And then Rose collapsed. Rose was dying.

Nothing is actively wrong with this story, but nothing is actively right with it either. Also, it seems to be abandoned.
