dunno. i've had the same problem off and on with my Airport. The only fix I've ever found is unplugging it, waiting a good long while, and trying again.

I'm doing exactly that. Airport Express plugged into a Linksys switch, and into the switch goes the DirecTV DVR, PS3, XBox 360, Wii, Denon receiver, plasma panel, and the occasional Mini. Works fantastically ( ... )

Oh, and when I last looked the docs were still behind on the bridge functionality. It definitely didn't work on older firmware, and I don't think the older generation single-band units did it either. I know the dual-band N version (current) does it. I think the generation just prior did as well, but I'm not certain. I sold that one to a coworker so I can't check.

when i turned allow extend off -- the express doesn't give out connectivity at all.
