Tomorrow is Suga of BTS's enlistment date for his mandatory service. Rumor has it he's going to be doing social work instead of going into the army, due to an old shoulder injury -- he was hit by a car while working as a bike delivery driver during his trainee days. Yes, I have Covid, dammit. Started feeling icky on Saturday, did a test on Sunday that was negative, stayed in bed all day Monday except to get up and feed the cats and go to the bathroom and eat a bowl of cereal in the evening, did another test yesterday that was positive. Lots of stuff this week: on Monday, the physical therapist said I could start using the cane instead of the walker if I was comfortable with it. So of course I *said* I'd use the cane in the house and the walker when I went out for the time being, and then promptly started using the cane exclusively, even when I was tired and a bit wobbly. I put my earrings back in a couple of days ago. I had taken them out before my surgery in April, and decided to just leave them out until after the final surgery. So I've had naked ears for just over three months and it was starting to feel too weird. Had my third and, I hope, final hip surgery on Wednesday. It went well, I was up walking with the walker the next day, and they promptly booted me out. Came home on Friday.
