Peanut butter cookies? They're just peanut butter, egg, sugar. Heaps of recipes online. They're really tasty!

look up basic fudge recipes that require only sugar, cocoa and butter... many are made right in the microwave and exchange out butter for margarine. The hardest thing about making a gf/cf treat in your home is cross contamination, so nothing non-stick, cast iron or hand-washed can be used, try to stick with stainless steel or glass right out of the dishwasher. You'd be best served, likely, going to the local healthfood store... there are tons of gfcf cookies and treats available these days, and for a decent price if it's only for two kids.

Ooh, if you make rice krispie treats in a large pan you can cut them out with heart cutters - tinted red for sure!
