On top of unplanned auto repairs, personal health issues, and an abruptly turbulent work schedule (one of my supervisors gave birth rather earlier than intended), my remix story suddenly decided to grow on me. I recognize that this is bad behavior - and I would not welcome it in any remix participant, much less the founder and mod of the remix -

RL issues always take precedence. I hope they're all getting resolved quickly and easily, especially the health issues.

It was actually a single, annoying incident: at a time when I needed sleep for an early morning shift, indigestion kept me awake, so that when I finished the shift and got home I was too wasted try and finish the fic (which wound up taking me another two months anyhow, but it’s up now), crashing instead. Long settled, no repercussions.
