My little cartoon-loving heart is almost bursting to the brim today (and will probably implode by the end of the night). Saw episode 23 of Young Justice this afternoon and loved it. It's Friday!!!
And I'm leavin' work early! Woo! Not that I have any plans. Maybe a nap. I just got a new plot bunny courtesy of a couple songs and a drama - it's been so long since I was inspired! - so I really should seize the opportunity to scribble down something while it's still brewing. -
Still alive!
After my computer troubles earlier this year, I was finally able to finish editing and posting the first chapter of my HP fanfic, "The Ballad of Jack and Rose." It can be found here at HPFF. Still not sure where exactly the story's going to be going but I do know it's not going to be too long. Within 10 chapters for sure.

...and so the countdown begins until the 29th, which is the day I take my MCAT. I wanna steal Adam Sandler's time-control remote from that one movie and slow everything down to a crawl. That time of year again
It's Novemember 1st, NaNo month and though I'm not going to participate, I've decided to celebrate anyway. For the rest of this month I plan to write something - drabble, LJ entry, private journal, etc - everyday. Just sit down for 30min or so and write. Should be interesting to see what I turn out. Gnashing teeth in frustration here
I've been working on a oneshot fic recently and it's driving me mad. The words just can't seem to come out, mainly due to the unfortunate nature of the fic depending on dialog and tone. It's a necessary evil as the entire thing is a single interaction between two characters discussing the terms of a blood contract in a graveyard. I'm having a hard ( Read more... ) -

...within the last 48 hours. Ugh, I feel slightly overloaded. I got through the second of the 'Mortal Instruments' (MI) books today, City of Ashes. Why are all her books so damn long? It gets difficult after a while to plough through so many pages of average writing. I series could have done with a lot more editing for a tighter, and therefore ( Read more... ) -

So I just finished reading book 1 of the 'Mortal Instruments' series by Cassandra Clare. What's interesting about this author is that she started off writing fanfic about 'Harry Potter' and 'Lord of the Rings' and eventually became published.
