Today was a great day and since tomorow we pull into port, this is just how I want to remember the sea before the next time we go out agian. I saw my first wild marine mammal while underway today. A dolphin carcas floated by our ship belly up not long ago. It's a creepy sign that we were near Japan. These people have festivals where they confuse dolphins with sonar and trap them in lagoons where they slaughter as many as possible, sometimes in the hundreds. We are within a week of pulling back into our home port and the thought of being back is making the day go by so slow. The water out here is as calm as I have ever seen the Pacific and the surface looks like glass coated chrome. Just the time be to out of film. Last night was one of the most crazy, harrowing nights I've had in a long time. We arrived in Korea and our first night was the most insane of an already eventful cruise. I don't know why I'm so surprised that I'm upset with the outcome of the Acadmey awards.
