It is Christmas Eve and appropriately cold. I'm working tonight, from midnight until 8am Christmas morning which isn't as terrible as it sounds. I don't understand this. My camera has rolled down Mount Fuji, it has skittered down the sidewalk, when I went kayaking with Emilie it got dunked so that I had to actually drain water out of it, it has received all manner of scrapes, bumps, bruises, all of which have been on . We took a day to hide from a typhoon and dropped anchor in Sasebo, which is a military base in southern Japan. It adds a day to our overall voyage but it was nice to get out and stretch my legs in an Americanized enviornment. It beat Korea, I'll tell you that. Pretty soon it will be an entire year since I started this thing so I am doing the most practical thing I can think to do wth an online journal. I'm abandoning it for something new.
