This is dark and powerful and amazing. I really like that Jeff had all the answers and was so prepared for what he was doing. He obviously spent a lot of time watching Annie and her actions and doing his research on Adderall--it really showed how much he cares for her without you having to actually say that. And Rich giving her the pills was genius. I never thought of that possibility but he easily could do it since he is a doctor. Again, this is really well done.

Really enjoyed this story. I first read it over at fanfiction.net, but decided I wanted to comment here.

I really like fics that have Jeff being protective of Annie, and to see him helping her deal with a relapse was great to read.

The fact that Rich was also the villain made this fic even better, because I genuinely hate Rich.

I look forward to reading more of your writing in the future!

The funny thing is...I don't hate Rich. He was just a convenient villain. I do think he's totes hiding a dark side, though. I kinda want an "A-ha!" moment where Jeff can rub it in everyone's faces how right he was about Rich.

Love. I like particularly like the aspect that Jeff has clearly suspected this for a while now & did his research on the symptoms and how to find a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

Very interesting take on the pill addiction situation. I really like the exploration of these serious issues of their past. I don't necessarily want it dealt with in the show, because that isn't the tone of the writing, but I love that fanfiction allows for it. You did a really great job portraying both characters. I just loved it.

That was my main worry, was how different it is from the show. It honestly just came from nowhere inside my brain. (I was intending on writing something fluffy and romantic, and this is what came from my fingers!)

That was beautifully written, and I think this storyline is entirely possible for Annie. I also think you were clever in how you had written Jeff in noticing Annie's returning addiction. I would like to read more if you think about continuing, but I also think the story has a good ending as is.
