In honor of the fact that its spring and I just happened to have all of the ingredients on hand I made cookies. Not just any cookies, but beautiful lemon flavored sugar cookies. They are both tasty and adorable.

By the way I’m 27 (as of last Sunday). Got a Kitchenaid stand mixer. I had been saving up my American express points for 4 years for one of these, but now I can get something else. Today I made a yogurt cheese torte with cherry chutney and pecans. Yum.

Apple’s ipod warranty lasts for exactly one year from the purchase date. My nano worked perfectly for exactly one year and six days from the purchase date. Now one year and seven days after the purchase date it decides to not work so perfectly. But hey, just in time for the recent launch of the brand new video nano, right?

The patients themselves were quite nice today, but I had no patience whatsoever for the nursing staff. They must have broken into the stupid pills because they were extra bad.
