"So somber and dignified. It's a side of Alfred we don't see too often.." I got that impression too. I think Alfred can be very like that from time to time.

Aw. ;_; It's good to remember the men who DIDN'T get to become president, or get to be on our money. More important I think, because they're the ones who did make the sacrifices in order for America to become free.

Alfred's so loud and over-confident and cheeky now. But back then, it must have been absolutely terrifying, for a poor, back-water colony of merchants and farmers to take on the greatest empire in the world, all by itself.

But he did it. So happy birthday America!! ♥

It's because of the amazing people behind Alfred and all the things he has done that makes him so confident and cheeky. xD But that's just the way he is. And yes, it's very important to remember the unknown people who helped shape America for independence.
