Ten years ago today (almost to the minute) I got a flat tire on the way to school. I changed it on the side of the freeway while wearing a leprechaun suit. Putting the spare tire on, I noticed that it smelled EXACTLY like my girlfriend.

Years later I was changing out the tire on the same car again. Long after we had broken up, and it still smelled EXACTLY like her. Smells can really take me back, and this one hit me so hard it almost made me cry.

Then I found a bottle of the lotion she was always wearing under the tire. Must have slipped under the mat in the back one day, and been rattling around coating tires for years.
