Dear Friends of Colin:
It has been 6 months since Colin passed away and I am not sure how many of you still have Colin in your friends list. However, I hope a few of you remain connected since I want to tell you how much you all meant to Colin and me during the brief time he kept his blog. We cannot financially support the effort, but will spread the word and ask for others to honor Colin's memory. Thank you for the reminder!

Colin will always be on my friends list as well. His insights were invaluable to me. Both before and after my father passed away due to ALS, he helped me to understand so many things about what my dad was going through and about what I was feeling. He was a true friend, and I miss him very much.
Please let me know how I can donate to your walk effort. I may not be able to give much, but I would like to help. My fiance and I were "virtual walkers" in the Westchester County, NY, Walk to D'Feet ALS. I hope that we will be able to participate in the actual walk next year.
Love to you and your family,

You have already done so much for Colin and our family and I am truly grateful. It is wonderful that you are involved with the ALS Association in NY and I hope you have a chance to participate in the actual walk next year. If the NY event is anything like ours, it is an uplifting and inspiring day.
If you want to see how things are going with our walk, you can log into the Colin's Friends link at:

Of course, I will be extremely thankful for any donation that you make to the ALS Assoc in Colin's name. The address here is:
ALS Association of Oregon and SW Washington

Best Wishes to you and your family
Laurie
