A question about the future of the community

As many of you have probably seen, a number of fandom people have been leaving LJ recently. Several of the communities I follow have been backed up to Dreamwidth, or have relocated to DW, Tumblr, or some other place

I have one last com that is deciding what it is doing and once it's finalized I will be killing my LJ.

I do have an open ID with DW that I can use here as long as you haven't blocked the the option. :)

Yeah, openID or anonymous is fine. :) I don't have any plans to turn it off right now -- this might be revisited if we get deluged in spam, but at most I might end up screening anon comments. I really want to leave it on, since it makes it possible for more people to participate.

It's also fine to crosspost fics anywhere, so you could have them at your DW/tumblr/AO3 and just post a link here, if you'd rather have your fic elsewhere.

I have both an LJ and DW account so either site will work for me.

Not much in helping you decide what to do, but I will be following on either one. If you need help maintaining things, and you don't mind teaching an old dog new tricks, I'd be willing to help out.

Thank you! :) It looks like we will be staying on LJ since that's the majority decision, but I'll back it up to DW just in case.

As of now, I prefer LJ and I never really used my DW account much, but I do have one and I might start spending more time there since quite a few people moved over there entirely.

Whatever way you decide, I'll be here either way.
