I have not heard of/read that series. I shall research.

You realize this is western-Carolina style BBQ around here, not so much the Eastern stuff you ate in Wilmington (really, I don't know the difference, but thousands of other people on the web do, evidently, if you look it up.)

looking at the web, the styles are closer to each other than either of them is to the bbq that prevails in the rest of the country.

I even tried to read some of Jerry Seinfeld's book Seinlanguage to fill the Seinfeld void, but it just didn't do it.

Well, soon you'll have Bee Movie to fill that void. :P

I really need to check out the other branches. Cross your fingers that they have a better selection.

Wow, there really aren't very many branches, are there? You can probably use interlibrary loan if none of those branches have much of anything. I guess the stereotype about Southerners and books has a fair amount of truth to it. {g}

As for what you can read, Making Money is coming out pretty soon, but you probably already knew that.

I don't think number of branches is the best measure of the quality of a library (I say this to a librarian, however, who knows much more about it than I do.) The Lexington Public Library only had 6 braches, and it was great! I think what bothers me about this is that the interlibrary loan seems kind of pitiful, as well. We went to a new branch today, and it was awful. Nathan, I almost took a picture with my cell of the young adult section, to show you the age of the books, but then I realized I currently have no means to get the picture off of the cell to show you. I will next time I'm there.

I'm excited about Making Money! I might re-read Going Postal before it comes out.

No, I don't either. My reply was rather poorly organized. If none of the branches have much material, though, you're pretty much stuck with interlibrary loan to get anything, no?

I wouldn't say the age necessarily matters that much with fiction, although if they're neglecting more recent titles, that's not so cool.

Wow, how much is gas around there?

Blockbuster is bad. They love the censorship. Why no netflix?

Haha, I have Seinlanguage.

Your other car was a manual?

1) Gas is about $2.60. With my mileage, it'd be around $6 a day, give or take.

2) I didn't think I'd be eligible for the free Netflix trial, as we had it before. But I hadn't had Blockbuster before, and I am eligible for that! I like it, as you can return movies/trade movies out at a nearby Blockbuster.

3) Is it that awful, or it is just me? I mean, I love Jerry Seinfeld, but it's just hard to read.

4) My current car is a manual, yes. Every car I've owned has been a manual.
