One day I attended a church sermon where two people a husband and a wife preached. My family has known them for years.
They were different than a lot of people. They had spent so much time with God that he spoke through them.

 All the time Christians try to beat around the bush and say that  life is great, wonderful when you walk with God. 
They dont mention any of the hard almost impossible times in life. The real life pain that people suffer everyday.
This year at Torrey, they did not try to force the love and goodness of God and living according to his words.

Today at the end of a conference 
different students one by one
held up a piece of cardbaord
one side had a time of suffering in their life
The other side was how God had changed them.

As different people shared their stories
i realized one thing.
At this time in my life more than half those stories 
define who i am right now.
They all changed.

Every day I walk by a flower bush full of beautiful, vibrant white flowers.

One day while walking by I saw a few petals

Lying neatly on the grass underneath one of the flowers.

All the others were still healthy and full of life.

I shrugged and figured the rest would start losing petals also.

 Last year, i went to biola.
this year, i go to Biola.
I feel like i am in a completely different place.
a whole different world.
all different people
a whole new attitude

yet, there is still two colleens.
which one will over come the other?

 why is it that...........

fat people hang out with fat people

blonds hang out with blonds

bitches hang out with bitches

nerds hang out with nerds

and so on...

Why cant we all hang out together?

watching people and trying to understand them is mind boggling

yep.

 Im back at Biola. 
Its not where i thought i would be at this time
But its good.
For now

Everything is different
almost as if i am in a new place
How will it turn out?

New priorities
New me
New future?
