shopping is so stupid. i went to target today cause we (lacy and i) needed things for our apartment that i've never had to buy before. i've always moved in with people already established, and lacy and i both have never had to buy the mop, broom or new matching towels for the bathroom (our apartment is going to be beautiful). sigh. domesticity isn't cheap! i almost splurged on a 20 dollar butcher knife (a good butcher knife is sacred to me), but opted for the 12 dollar one instead. that splurge will be for another day, and won't be at target but a special kitchen store (my future obsession-ie not one i have now but i can see having later on in life). anywho. shopping stresses me, and i tried to smile at people and engage the workers cause consumerpeople are freaky during the holidays...ok. all the time.
see you soooon!
