I don't know that I'd say just because you didn't know them would make it better. Just seeing them would be hard because you have something to relate such a sight to..

Though, why did you have to be there to begin with?

Being allowed to leave right away was most definitely a comfort. Our professor is such an awesome person, and she'd been saying for weeks that if we needed to leave, we could leave and not get penalized any points, so I knew it was OK to leave. It was just such a jarring sight that I literally could not do anything else except leave quickly. I was shaking like a mofo for a couple hours afterwards.

We had to be there because the class is an Intro to Forensic Anthropology class, and she wanted to give us a little hands-on experience. Which is nice, but oh gods. Cannot unsee, and will probably never be able to unsee. D:

Yeah, I went home, put on my pajamas, and curled up in the fetal position with my stuffed wolf and stuffed anteater and fell asleep for a while. That helped. :D

*hugs* I'm watching Memoirs of a Geisha and eating pizza. It's very good eye bleach. :D
