Three of my sales associates for my shop have been fired and arrested for embezzling. They were working as a team, and not realizing that yes, I do check the till every day.  The second time that my till dropped, I was actually in the shop while they were trying to play creative accounting.

The perils of working for oneself outweigh the benefits sometimes, I think.
