i haven't done a tut in awhile but, i've been asked so i didn't see the harm in it and
this one is pretty easy considering my usual graphics as of late (banners and such) have many
more layers.

Sorry, but could you get the same result without the photo filter layer? I only have PS7. :/

yes i believe so with either selective coloring or channel mixer. i think you could do it also with a fill layer of a blue hue set at a very low opacity

Thanks for the tutorial. I had that stock icon saved because I liked it and because I thought of trying to make a similair coloring but now I don't have to anymore.
