Trick-or-Treat 2011
Are you ready to trick-or-treat!?
Akai-san (drawn by the lovely Mikah) is so ready! He's already in costume!
To join in with the fun, follow the steps below!
1. Comment with a link to your card post to receive one of the candies below!
These beautiful candies were designed by Chuu! A million thanks to Chuu!
2. You receive an unlimited supply of one of the candies to pass out to trick-or-treaters, but oh no, that candy is not yours. It is merely a magical supply that does not count towards your collection. What does this mean...?
3. Go around to participating players' posts and comment with something like "Trick-or-Treat!" It would be nice if you also did more than just zipping by with a trick-or-treat comment. This is an awesome chance to rack up some trades too!
4. Receive actual candies!
5. Profit! Which means, horde these yummy things until you find out how you can spend them. ;)
6. As extra incentive, take this special Halloween sketchpad that can only be filled out 1 box per candy you pass out to Trick-or-Treaters. Redeem these like usual at the Art Shop!
Fine Print
- You may only go around trick-or-treating once at each participating player's posts. Please do not go trick-or-treating at non-participating players' posts! You will be able to find who's participating by looking through comments in this post.
- Halloween sketchpads may not be filled with normal trades, and you only get to mark a box when you pass out a candy, not when you receive a candy. If you are unable to fill a Halloween sketchpad, remaining empty spots on your sketchpad remain empty. Please discard the sketchpad when the event ends. You may fill out more than one sketchpad if you so happen to have that many trick-or-treaters.
- You may make your "Trick-or-Treating" comments on players' posts up until October 31, GMT -12, or when the 31st has ended for everyone everywhere in the world. Players may take longer to respond to your comment.
- You will have the month of November and December to spend your candies. Once December ends, your candies will expire. (You will hopefully find out before November how to spend your candies!)
- If you host your cards outside of LJ, I suggest making an LJ post for this particular occasion where people can spam you with trick-or-treat comments. (You can also consider making the post in the colors_trade community if you don't want to make such a post in your own LJ). Please make sure this is what you link us!
- If Akai-san, Mikan-tan, Kou-kun, Midorin, Aoi-sama, Murasaki-dono, Tobi-han, Gin-sensei, Shirocchi, and Kurocchi would like to help pass out candy too, they are welcome to join in. More candy for everyone! Please comment with a link if you do join in.
- Feel free to hotlink the candies if that makes things easier! |D
- You must log candies you pass out and candies you receive.
