Its such a nice day out today, and with summer quickly coming to a close, who wants to do a picnic dinner tonight?  Better if you can suggest a good location, lest I just pick a direction and drive.

Oh, for places near Troy...Frear Park is probably your best option. There are also smaller parks along the river in both Troy and Watervliet. I think the Watervliet one is kinda ghetto, but that does have picnic tables and I think even grills.

I might be in on a picnic tonight. Some suggestions of places - Thacher Park, Washington Park (Albany), Saratoga State Park, Congress Park (Saratoga), Lake George (might be a little far), Saratoga Lake... I'm trying to think of something closer to Troy but not coming up with anything.
