Oriental Chicken Salad

Will someone please explain to me why Marshall Fields puts BACON in its Oriental Chicken Salad? I mean, I'm sure its very good...but BACON? URGH. There is nothing like having to go all the way back downstairs to get a new lunch because you forgot to check if the Oriental Chicken Salad has pork in it. Yeesh!
