I sent the Rabbi a long email this morning asking him if we could get together. I included the reading list he's asked for. I never realized how many books on Judaism I own! I told him I was willing to read any or all of them in their entirety if he wished (even if I've already read him). We'll see if he has a plan. I think he might wonder

Ahh, how did November go for you? Were you able to bill enough hours? I'm glad to hear you're back!! :) Now maybe we can get to the same shul at some point. ;) I may be sponsoring a kiddush on the 24th with some friends that are also going to Israel (not on the same trip) and I have been getting the impression that my Rabbi isn't going to be in town that weekend unfortunately--services tend to run more smoothly when he's there. I'm only going to be around for 2 more Shabbatot until I leave for NY and Israel. !!! :) Okay... so anyway, it's really cool to see that you're pushing ahead!

November is over. That's the important thing. I billed 226.4 hours and thought I would drop dead at the end of it. I never want to do that again (certainly not because I need the hours...maybe if there is work to be done.). I am indeed pushing ahead. I received a response from the Rabbi and he and I will meet for lunch the first week of the new year. We shall see what kind of work I have ahead of me. Eeee yow! Commitment is so difficult!

You know, now that I've met you, I don't think this picture looks like you. Based on this, and the other user pic I've seen, I think you look thinner in real life. :)

Well aren't you just a sweet thang. ;-) Perhaps I should use a different pic. I have a couple of others that I narrowed down to a smaller size for MySpace but I'm not sure they are small enough for LJ yet.
