Squeaky Toaster

Nathan and I walked into my kitchen this afternoon and saw a little baby rat pop his head out of the toaster slot. He ran off followed by another little baby rat popping out of the next toaster slot. It was simultaneously the cutest and most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I understand if no one wants to come over to my house ever again.

A cat would be awesome if I weren't allergic. A few nights ago the possum that lives in our attic killed one. We heard the sound of eight fast-shuffling feet then a tiny rat scream. I also saw the neighbors dog catch one.
