I've always had trouble identifying red snapper. Faced with a plate of mixed sushi every other fish tastes distinct and more or less like it has always tasted. Nathan and I walked into my kitchen this afternoon and saw a little baby rat pop his head out of the toaster slot. He ran off followed by another little baby rat popping out of the next toaster slot. It was simultaneously the cutest and most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I understand if no one wants to come over to my house ever again.

Doug recently introduced me to yet another new favoritest band A Sunny Day in Glasgow. He played it for me while we fled Simi Valley on route to UCB. I feel asleep in his car, woke up midway through "The Best Summer Ever" and yelled, "this song is amazing!"

I'm back in Austin at South by Southwest or, as I like to call it, wear this wristband for three days. Annie woke up too early. The End.

So this is the post where I admit that I've been neglecting my journal. "I haven't written in so long but I'm back..." whatever. I'm not back. I probably won't write for another 5 months. That said, I am back in LA for a while so let's go get lunch/dinner/drinks/wasted/tattoos/chickens/whatever.
