Liquidstar.org Reincarnated

So just over a week ago now, I went live with the latest version of liquidstar.org. I've been updating regularly there, and I intend to continue doing so. With a heck of a lot more time to myself lately, I've needed an outlet for all the thinking I do, and getting back into blogging seemed the way to go ( Read more... )

I was going to say, "Doesn't much matter to me, I read this and the RSS feed, and can comment either place (but LJ is easier)"--but having seen the LJ/RSS feed, it cuts off after three lines or so, meaning I -have- to view it over at Liquidstar. Thus, I'd prefer you cross-post the whole entries here, ambivalent on where commenting takes place. Easier for me to comment on LJ, easier for you if everyone comments at the same place. :)

That's a tough call. I do have a couple of friends who fully cross-post, public comments allowed on both sites, and it's 50/50 whether I comment at one location or the other. (I prefer LJ, personally, because I'm comfortable with its commenting format and don't have to make an extra effort to get comment notifications--but it's only a few seconds more effort to drop my info in another form to comment there. The only sites I -don't- like are those that a) don't let me sign up for comment notifications, or b) don't let me shut off comment notifications later, in case of heavy traffic that I cease caring about. :)

Yeah, I added a comment notification plug-in with a manager just today to LS. Thinking about the commenting on LJ made me realize how useful it would be to have there. :]

I figured you might not be terribly opinionated on the public vs. friends-only on LJ, seeing as you're generally fairly public with stuff. I'll see if I get any other feedback!
