Story-wise, I'm just a bit baffled by the final images of them with their vampire smiles as they... stroll into the sunshine that just endustified the glamour girl. Not sure how that works! But it's a fun idea, overall.

But see, that was the whole point of the mention of the daywalkers in the intro, to show that they don't die in the sun. (But the chick, not being a daywalker, does)

This is where it becomes apparent that I have very little interest in 'vampire lore' and had no clue what a 'Daywalker' is!

See, what bothered me more about that was that it was so...anticlimactic. Like, why bother with the whole vampire thing if they don't do anything supernatural. lol I dunno.

I looooooove this video. Partly because I used to play Vampire: the Masquerade back in the day and as soon as I saw the word 'kine' I got all excited and started sparklycasting pop boys in different Vampire Clans (and I could seriously spend 4 and a half minutes just pondering Howie, Ventrue or Toreador?) and it just made me stupidly happy, because, VtM! Oh, my lost youth! There should be an epic VtM AU, with a full cast of Nsync and BSB plus extras, and it would be AWESOME.

There were some fab pictures from the shoot, too. I had a couple of them lying around for inspiration while I was writing Temperance.

Nick can do all the video treatments, as far as I'm concerned. :-) Unless Kevin comes back, then he gets them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who latches on to something she loves and then casts all the SDBs in it...I was at a Phillies game a few weeks ago, and decided that I could totally write a baseball story, since there are 10 boys and nine positions on the field. I actually went and bought a $4 pen so I could use my scorecard to create a roster...and put a lot of thought into it! LOL

I love the video! I think there's something oldskool about them on the stage... can't really pinpoint it. And as always, Howie looks gorgeous. :D

1. Go Nick and your badass geek self. He should definitely be given the opportunity to develop this side of his creative personality I have been a Nick Girl since I discovered them in the late 90s, but I used to cringe when he'd get in front of a microphone. He was SO blond. But now, man, his interviews are GREAT. I'm so damn proud of him.

2. I feel like they tried to fit too much into this video. It could have been better if they'd done less. HOWEVER, I would pay good money to see more Boy!Vampire shots. I LOVED them with the red eyes looking all sinister. I'd offer Nick or AJ my neck in a heartbeat!

Agreed so much, on both points! lol Being able to enjoy interviews, and not being embarrassed for him is great. But I feel like they could have done more with this video, even if they had added another 30 seconds it could have been awesome. I hope Nick gets more creative with his next video though!
