I tried my hand at Teh Tarik this morning. It's tea drink that has origins in Indian, but is a big deal in Malaysia. I learned about it through a blog post somewhere and went "Well, that sounds tasty and seems like a thing I could make". I like tea lattes and milk teas, so why not give it a shot?

Rob and I decided to go see the Muppets last night. Aside from a few very minor issues, the bulk of the movie is just as fantastic as people are claiming. It's a witty, sharply-written movie that will hold the attentions of adults but is still accessible to kids. So, Fate/Zero is on sale. For $380 US. For half of the series. Without a dub.

It's a limited print run. I know it'll sell out - Garden of Sinners did. And I really like Type-Moon and Fate/Zero is a fantastic if not silly series.

But I can't comfortably go "I'm spending $800 on a TV series!"

I like me some Bruce Cockburn. I like to consider him the anti-Nickleback; while Rush is more of an anti-Nickleback in terms of musical act structure, Cockburn is it in terms of thematic content.
