[Not only does he look unworried, he sounds it, too. He is, even in the worse situations, a better actor than anyone might imagine. Calm on the surface, because he has to be.]

I'm scrappy like that.

[Destroyed buildings, dead bodies, it's a war zone like any other. Admittedly, the second Firebringer war was nothing even close to this, but he'll deal for now.]

Try and regroup. It's all we can do right now, but whether or not anyone else makes it here... [He shrugs. He doesn't expect to much, to be honest.] But I did notice that the basement levels of the houses were intact. I know a house with one that was expanded into a bunker without the use of anything from another world, so it should be intact.

That's where we'll be going.

I'll be sticking around here for a few hours, so if they are on their way, I'll see them. Do you remember the house I told you about, the one several of us used as a base before?

[Miakis and the Prince had never made it to that, but he does know he's given her that address. She might remember.]
