Haven't communicated for 1,5 years, split up on somewhat acrimonious terms.
Actually, no ill will is being harbored, as far as I'm concerned, but, maaaan, the unease was palpable, even though we simply said hello to each other and never crossed our gazes again for the rest of our (rather brief) encounter.

Wow, sometimes meeting lost (school) friends from over 5 years ago is not actually a drag and a waste of time but rather something pleasant and even useful.
