Could be wrong, I suppose. He could just be off somewhere thinking about whatever dream he had about, well, the usual. Hell, I'd love to be proved wrong.

As far as I can tell, we are. The Mansion randomly brings people here, and it randomly takes people away. None of it is really our doing. But, sure, I guess that means you are able to leave just not by choice.
