disagreeing about health care is not racist.

Being a an old white southern conservative congressman who disrespects the President on a level far in excess of anything seen in history or a group of white conservative congressman that publicly accuse him of not being born in the US, thus claiming that his position is illegitimate, is probably racist.

disagreeing is fine but there are a lot of people who just flat out don't like minorities. I heard several people say that they wouldn't vote for Obama because he is black so why wouldn't they disagree with him because he is black?

Just because you don't have problems with Franklins doesn't mean other people don't.

What about being an old white liberal congressman who boos the President at his state of the union address? Or calls him a liar, fraud, or war criminal on various national news outlets?

There's crazies on both sides, and there's vehement disrespect on both sides.
