Hello Curtis, long time no see. No this isn't a, "buck up cowboy, things will work out" kind of entry.
But. I was (and probably still am) depressed for about the last 3 or 4 or longer years. I went to the naturopath (traditional medicine) for advise. What I learned from him was very useful. He also had me get acupuncture for my back. Somehow, I'm willing to trust medicine that is grounded is 2000-4000 years of history over something that has come out in the last 100 years. Holistic medicine treats the whole person.
Dr. Yam at evergreen wellness. www.doctoryam.com He is very very very close to the university. I've recommended him to several friends who have also said good things.
I know he is actively taking patients. And that alot of the services (not always all) are covered under uvic's extended health plan.

Might I ask who this was? or where I can find some holistic medicine nearby?
