A wonderful day for British sport. 6 gold medals and I saw them all.

Yes, somehow I managed to go out and buy groceries and shop for clothing today and *still* caught all of the medals being won live. It's been a fabulous day!

I was in the gym for the rowing medals, which was a great way to see them.

I was in the gym for the first rowing gold on Wednesday last week, yes you're right! Brilliant to see so many women's sports when normally all we get is a bunch of overpaid thuggish show-offs kicking a ball around a lawn.

It has been a great week for women's sport. Let's hope it inspires girls. My daughter is doing that 'couch to 5k' challenge ATM.
