What kinds of works are going to count as art? Will that include things like fanmixes, icons and banners?

Hi! Yes, I think so. This is the first one so I don't want to say you can only do x,y,z. Preferably, you would be in touch with your author and discuss a couple of things you might like to do, but I do think there should be limitations at this stage.

Can submissions be based on a prompt or do they have to be original content?

It can be based on anything you want, as long the finished story is work that hasn't been posted elsewhere and fulfills the rest of the criteria. :)

Oh, darn! If I would've known crossover and already started fic were allowed, I would have signed up for this! I actually have almost 15,000 words of a Community crossover fic, but it's already posted on FF.Net, so I guess that wouldn't count. ):

To be sure, first drafts are due on the 27th of this month. When do we need to have the final version ready to send in? The absolute last date it has to be done by? The 7th?

When in the day will sign ups be on the 30th? I'll be gone most of the day (I'm going to a Childish Gambino concert, oddly enough) and I don't want to miss them!

I'm going to look at doing a timed post, but I'll have to work that out on LJ. Can I get back to you tomorrow with a more definite time?
