I got something like that around my eyes for a while. my doctor said it's a contact dermatitis. he prescribed a steroid cream for it but I just stopped wearing my sleep mask and it went away. I don't know if this helps or not but there you go.

i have a variety of oils that i apply when my eyebrows dry out (apparently eczema runs in the family, yay). a drop of olive oil is a nice moisturizer, dense but doesn't clog pores, and you don't have to buy it special if you have it in the cupboard already.

i don't know why yours suddenly started drying out, but the skin between my eyebrows and the tops of my eyelids gets really dry and flaky if i don't moisturize daily. the skin right above the inside corners of my eyes is especially bad.

i use oil-free moisturizer from dan kern- i also use his benzoyl peroxide treatment, which does a bangup job of clearing my skin but is probably creating the drying problem. the moisturizer is awesome.

i got that my junior year of college when i was wearing eye makeup every weekend and drinking too much. therefore i suggest taking it easy with the sauce and the eyeshadow! actually i like kat's olive oil suggestion best, but all i had at the time was vaseline and that worked. also drinking more water.
