wow, the curse of bryan fuller. looks like pushing daisies is getting not renew for a third season. first, no closure for dead like me. then, no closure for wonderfalls. now, no closure for pushing daisies.

at least he's starting to write for heroes again, so that show can die a decent death. bastards.

Never seen Dead Like Me or Wonderfalls, but I'm disappointed by the non-renewal of Pushing Daisies. (Not wholly surprised, mind you--there's only so much they can do with the theme--but disappointed.)

not sure if you would like dead like me, but definitely pick up wonderfalls. it's a lovely story and i found it at best buy (circuit city?)for 10 bucks for the entire season.

it was because the network execs decided not to follow the storyline where george's dad was gay and THAT is why the marriage fell apart. season 2+ would have been fine. i think season 3 would have been great as well since it we would have seen george's connection with the gravelings.

i would watch that movie, even though it would be a little bit awkward to picture george and chuck together what with the reaper/ex-reapie dynamic. not sure about the dead like me connection, but pushing daisies and wonderfalls exist in the same universe in that it definitely shares one character (abeit very minor).

i wonder what happened to the dead like me movie? i know mannie pulled out because he pulled out of all of his projects like criminal minds, etc and that laura harris couldn't commit to it because she was in the already canceled women's murder club, but ellen muth and callum blue (who was in for this last season of the secret diaries of a call girl) were signed up.

i love that i get to watch tv while at work.
