I know I've never dedicated an entire entry to a show but I have never been so stunned by the changes.

I actually hate Izzy's character and want her gone. It started with her making a play for George while he was still married - all that "we're meant to be together" BS put me off completely. And then they breeak up and she's back with Alex. Huh? Though I liked Izzy/Alex as a pair better than any of her other pairings (and I loath Danny Ducette, loathe).

I'm thinking Izzy might be gone. I read somewhere that Katherine Heigl wanted out of the show and I guess this is the way of writing her out, but still keeping things going just in case things work out. Same with George. I read that T.R. Knight was being a diva on set which is why his on-screen time was cut, but they ramped it up lately, maybe they're writing him out too. But I love the twist where it might by Izzy and George with the happily every after in the afterlife.

If they had to save one, I'd prefer George.

There's my opinionated comment on the show :)

Well I was thinking that they wanted to page Shepperd for Izzy but he only made it to George? Maybe one lives? Izzy has her irritating diluted moments but overall I like her whimsical attitude. I've never been a fan of George/Izzy but I can see the symmetry there that Rhimes likes to deal in. I've noticed she likes to bring her stories full circle. If anyone lives I'd bank on George but who knows.

I remember the rumours but weren't those beginning to mid season last year before Preston Burke left?

Neither might come back - both of them have been wanting to get off the show for a while now, though Katherine might stay as she feels she's now getting a better role.

What I found annoying was that when the patient was just John Doe, the doctors were all complacent "he's probably going to die today" but when they realise it's George they all get into high gear to try and save him. WTF?! Some lives are more important than others?

It is insensitive for them to try to save someones life over the other because they know them but I bet it still happens. I'm sure it's very difficult to separate personal feelings from professional opinions (case and point: Meredith telling Izzy not to have the surgery, letting Alex violate a DNR order, Izzy cutting the ElVad Wires).

There has been a lot of drama on the set, according to the rumours, so who knows?

It seems like those rumours were so long ago but I guess they have to wait till the contract ends. I just get skittish when they remove original cast members and bring in new ones but I guess so far Grey's has been successful at doing that.

Yes, they have...

I'm having some doubts about One Tree Hill next season, since Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton won't be there...
