wow I am appalled there aren't more comments on this! This was really intense and heavy, and it took a lot to get through :( Not because it was poorly written, but because it was so well written, and I actually had to take a few breaks on this to be able to finish it.

Oh, this hurt. Poor, poor Arthur. You captured both of their fears and anxiety so well, and made it a pleasure to read. Dom offering him whatever comfort he needed felt very true to him, too.

This was incredibly hurty, but also incredibly well-written, and the kiss was just... omg! The part in the jail was the absolute worst, though. Even though getting killed in a dream just wakes you up... you're still getting killed, or in Dom's case, you still have to kill someone. Nice writing.

I think it would always be harder for the killer than the one getting killed, cause if they do it right the one being killed is out in an instant, but the killer still has to force themself to be viscous enough to kill someone they care about. It wouldn't be easy.

As for the kiss, yay! I like writing Arthur not as a wilting violet, or someone who just gets overcome easily. He's really a badass! <3

I especially like that the dream did not end in asphyxiation. I feel like this fandom tends to forget that that's not the only way to kill someone without a weapon, lol.

Pfft, the fandom is just caught up on the fact that dying of asphyxiation can maybe give you a hard-on. Which, while it has basis in medical fact, would probably be more useful in bed than when trying to get someone out of the dream with the minimum of discomfort and embarrassment.
