Is it bad that I'm already tired of snow and cold?  It's 11 degrees (F) outside, with a couple inches of snow.  Inside, my upstairs windows have frost on the inside (thankfully they're covered by plastic so it's not that cold in the house), and my heater is blowing tepid air because of all the heat the air is losing in the ducts.  I just want it to ( Read more... )

Today as my brother went to have the precancerous mole taken off, they found a lump on his neck, didn't operate, and sent him to Kansas City for a CT scan.  He had melanoma 8 years ago.  They thought they got it all, but the doctors say melanoma is a funny kind of cancer.  Please pray.

Might I suggest you save even more money and visit your local library?  An astounding concept, I know.

Found out yesterday that the mole they took off my brother's face is precancerous.  He called and left a message that said they were going to excise the area (normally they just sort of scrape it off). I thought that meant a little half inch cut.  Nope.  He's going to have a 3 to 4 inch scar on his cheekbone. He already has a 3 inch scar down the ( Read more... )

I'm coming over to this journal from my old one quietlychloe .  I started that one back when I was Chloe, but now Chloe is gone.  She slipped away somehow when I wasn't looking, leaving the real me, Shelby, behind.   Eventually I'll delete that journal, but for now, this will do.  RIP, Chloe.  You were there when I needed you.
