Just a quick note since I've been rubbish at updating.  Sam's post at UCL meant that we needed to move to London asap for him to start his EngD, so we moved to Finsbury Park- northern London on the victoria and picadilly lines- mid-Jan.  Of course since then UCL has thrown up a mass of paperwork so Sam is still in student limbo and not quite ( Read more... )

That's about all I have to say really.  I've gone a bit mad with the knitty using free patterns off of the Knitty online newsletter, which means I'm learniing a lot of new bind offs and cast ons and You Tube knitting videos are waaaaaay easier to follow than written instructions on how to hold the needle and twist the yarn. Yay internets!

Today I was delegated to put up decorations, since Donni was busy being a hostess and running the Christmas children's service for her school and Faith was driving ppl.  It was actually quite fun, partly because it wasn't my collection of decorations so opening all the boxes of bobbles and tinsle was a surprise and then I got to find space for ( Read more... )

Since I'm bad at updating, y'all might not know, but I've finished the coursework on my MSc and am now applying for work and PhD programs. It blows, as I keep sending applications and 1 rejection email so far. The rest just send an automated if we don't call us assume you've been rejected email.
