We had our chatsubo knot-tying class on Friday, and fortunately Hamana-sensei was being patient with us, but even more fortunately, I knew from your stormy experience with that practicum that it's possible to be a successful tea person even if sometimes things go really, really badly.

I've just started getting back into LJ and blogging as well (I find myself with a lot of free time while I look for jobs and decide what I want to go back to college for) and it's good to see that I'm not the only one! It's really fantastic to read how you've been doing and what you've been up to lately. Even though the intricacies of tea ceremony are far outside my knowledge, I look forward to reading more!
