Gainful employment acquired
I have a job. Can I say that again? I HAVE A JOB! I got the call over Fringe weekend. I'd interviewed at Wal-Mart (Don't judge!) about two and a half weeks before and went in for a drug test two Fridays prior. I won't bore you with the mundane details of orientation. Anxiety
Kelly, my housemate with the cat is moving out at the end of this month. He couldn't score a job, and with the raise in rent looming if we renew the lease, the cost of living here just became too much. I'm partially glad he's going, because I can't fucking stand his cat. I got through two completely awesome weekends and didn't write one fucking entry. I need a better way of doing this. Hell, I might even go back to hand writing entries to be typed up later. Out of sorts
I recently read a good chunk of my journal trying to locate a cookie recipe I posted there and I was surprised at the amount of stuff that I didn't remember writing. I felt a little like an amnesiac trying to piece together strands of a forgotten past and, all the time wonder, who is this person? Is that me? Do I really write like that ( Read more... ) -
