I've been looking for an activity that would make me feel included and would give me a social outlet - preferably something that involved some exercise. You know, I go back and forth on whether or not I want to move away from here. While the job market is notoriously bad here, our efforts to get jobs elsewhere have not been successful so far. Slight problem: I've come to realize that I really don't think I'm cut out for nursing. The only type of nursing I'm interested in is labor and delivery, and the odds of getting into that field are very slim. Nursing is no longer the sure bet to get a job anymore. My social phobia has gotten worse in the past year or two, to the point where I go out of my way to avoid people, especially people I don't know.
