Graduate schools are maddeningly vague when it comes to response times. Most suggest that applicants will have responses by the end of February, or in early March. I think that this now qualifies as late February, and I find that I can barely think of anything else ( Read more... )

Today was a random self-improvement day. I spent most of the afternoon memorizing the hiragana and katakana alphabets in Japanese.
