She looks like a pseudo western anime character! A very uninspired one. I'm trying to imagine how she would animate and what she would even be educating kids about.

Dora for tweens? But ... what self-respecting tween would be into Dora? Or are these kids who grew up with her and they don't want them to grow out of her? Are those kids tweens now? I feel old.

I don't knooooooooow. My hypothetical kids are getting a steady diet of 80's ponies, legos, and lab kits. They could've kept the tomboy outfit and no jewelry, then she'd fit more into her product. As it is they seem to be out to change the brand.
